魏平,中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院合成生物学所,研究员,博士生导师,细胞与基因设计中心主任。2002年本科毕业于天津南开大学微生物学专业,2007年于北京大学获物理化学博士学位。2008年至2013年期间在美国加州大学旧金山分校(UCSF)从事合成生物学博士后研究工作。2013年至2020年任北京大学定量生物学中心 PI 研究员。2021年初,加入中科院先进技术研究院。主要成果发表在Nature,Science,Cell Systems等国际学术期刊。
